Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sports training at the age of 14. She was a boxer, fighter in kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her debut as an amateur at the age of 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd kept building on the victory she scored during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she fought for three straight wins. She defeated all her opponents in the first round. In the following weeks she took on WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen had already defeated Silvia Baeghian as well as Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia was beaten by Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put an end to Ladd's amateur record. Ladd recovered from this loss to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in the year 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her dominate Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta Fc16 was Aspen's first bout with a bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar submission during the second round. Aspen's formidable wrestling ability defeated McGill as she managed to finish her opponent in the 3rd round with a TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen later fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd had missed weight. However, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. She finished her through a TKO during the second round. At Invicta FC 21, she had her last match for the company. She defeated Sijara Ebanks by unanimous decision. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She was a step ahead of Lina and then pounded her on the ground to pick up a second-round TKO victory. She continued her dominance with a stunning win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger, who was fighting at UFC 229. Her debut fight was when she fought her second opponent in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos in which she faced. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in the Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd beating her opponent by a unanimous vote with both fighters claiming their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie finished Ladd in 16 seconds and ended her winning streak. After a short break her return to the ring and finished Yana Kunizkaya at UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. She was replaced by took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. Her defeat was decided by unanimous decision.
