Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into a mixed ethnic family. Her father is Nigerian as well as Swiss and her mom is English. She attended The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She earned her BA in acting from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. She appeared in many stages during her high time at school, including King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her acting career in the movie Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared as a guest in Teachers, Doctors, Casualty as well as Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film appearance was in Woody Allen's 2007 film Cassandra's Dream opposite Colin Farrell, Ewan McGregor. Her popularity led her to play Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot, then appear in the six-episode series Trexx & Flipside as Ollie. The ITV2 drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe appeared in the comedic How to Lose Friends and alienate others (2008). The credits she has in her theatre work include Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe was officially introduced to her US debut in the series The Beautiful Life in 2009. The show ran just two episodes at The CW, and was then removed from the air. In February, she was cast 2011 in the role of Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. The departure of Madekwe from the show was officially announced in May of 2013. After two years as the main character she appeared as a guest in the first episode of season three. The actress portrayed Tituba in the television series Salem from 2014 until 2016. Madekwe, her longtime partner, Iddo, married Madekwe in June 2012. They both appeared on Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They have also appeared together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario and was a part of a large family. Ashley Leggat was a part of Roy and Patty and her other siblings - Brett, Todd and Bram and Rob. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletes, play in the summer months and play hockey during winter. Ashley was never able to walk, but she danced. At the age of two, she took up Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley became passionate about dance after this. When she was in the high school she attended, Ashley danced competitively in the highest divisions of ballet, tap, jazz and pointe as well as acrobatics, musical theatre, lyrical and hip-hop. Top soloists at important competitions like International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance which were all given to Ashley.
